October is approaching and preparations and planning are well under way for this years Conference and AGM. The staff and volunteers of the CATPM are excited to host this years conference at their museum and are working hard to ensure we all have a good time.

A block of rooms has been reserved for conference attendees at the Hotel Super 8 by Wyndham Brandon – 1570 Highland Ave., Brandon, MB R7A 5Y5 – 833-372-9236. Room rates are $135/night plus taxes.

Check-in and registration will be available Thursday along with a Welcome Reception at the hotel from 1600-2100. The agenda will be finalized shortly and released in another eblast to the membership. We have confirmed two guest speakers, along with the in-person attendance of Transport Canada’s Chief of Flight Standards. Get your questions and concerns ready, and please send them to canadawarbirds@gmail.com so we can pass them along and give him time to respond accordingly.

The AGM will also include Board of Directors elections. There are four directors whose terms expire this year. If you are interested in running for the board, please go to the following link to the WarbirdsCanada website for the requirements to get your name added to the ballot per the by-laws.

Transportation from the Winnipeg Airport to Brandon is being finalized. We will report of the arrangements in the next eblast. For those who are unable to make it to Brandon this year, we will have a zoom option so you can still participate in the conference and AGM. Details in the next eblast.
